The Operational Risk Manager is a subject matter expert in risk governance and control.  The position requires the incumbent to be knowledgeable about risks throughout the organization with a specialization in operational risk sources and management processes.  This person partners with company officers and their direct reports to develop and continuously enhance enterprise risk identification and assessment processes, and to liaise with the lines of business (LOBs) and support departments to monitor risk exposures throughout the organization. The Operational Risk Manager will also develop and manage the Customers Banks’ framework for understanding and monitoring all sources of operational risk in the second line of defense. This position will be responsible for monitoring new business initiatives, facilitate the completion of assigned self-risk assessments (SRAs), facilitate the monthly Operational/Technology Risk Committee (OTRC) agenda inclusive of required materials, and represent the ERM Team in various weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc meetings. The incumbent should be a highly accomplished and motivated risk professional with excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. This role has a high level of exposure across the Bank with opportunity for significant impact and growth.  This position reports directly to Director of ERM.
