    Customers Bank, recently named by Forbes magazine as the 35th Best Bank in America (there are over 5,700 banks in the United States!), has an immediate opening for a Branch Operations Specialist I in our Branch Operations department. As a Branch Operations Specialist I, you will review all new accounts created, provide escalation reports, provide training, support, and guidance to branch staff. This role requires daily interaction with the branches to ensure sound operational understanding and implementation of all banking policies and procedures.

    • Review all new accounts created within the CORE from Business Units
    • Compile escalation reporting
    • Accountable for day to day operations of the branch and functions of the Branch Operations department
    • Establishes communication and training to branch personnel to clarify operating procedures and policies
    • Compile and share the end of the month reports
    • Will assist with daily branch balancing
    • Complete branch assessments
    • Conduct and participate in operations calls
    • Active participation for Bank initiatives that are implemented within the branches, troubleshoot system issues and provide recommendations for enhancements
    • Perform other duties as assigned supporting the branches over the phone and via email by answering questions and creating process improvement


    • Banking experience is required
    • Experienced in conducting training to branch P&Ps, CORE system, and related branch operating systems
    • Project management skills to participate and implement business initiatives that impact the branch teams
    • Firm knowledge of banking laws and regulations
    • Meticulous attention to detail
    • Strong public speaking experience that includes facilitating conference calls and in-person meetings
    • Troubleshooting experience and confidence to recommend knowledgeable solutions
    • Ability to work independently and handle detailed oriented functions
    • Self-starter with minimal need for supervision to accomplish tasks
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment with a positive attitude
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to travel to each branch several times a year
    • High school diploma required
