     Customers Bank, recently named by Forbes magazine as the 35th Best Bank in America (there are over 5,700 banks in the United States!), has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Auditor in our Loan Administration Department. As a Quality Control Auditor, you will perform a complete review of commercial and consumer loans to ensure consistency with the approval, loan documentation, and loan boarding areas. You will also complete CRA/HMDA reviews to ensure data integrity on the LAR's.

    We are looking for an extremely agile individual with excellent organizational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Documentation of bankruptcy information
    • Complete direct and indirect credit disputes
    • Lead the audit function of new consumer and commercial loans booked on the Bank's Core system
    • Ensure that internal approval is consistent with loan documentation and properly setup on core system
    • Guarantee loan file documentation has been audited and completed
    • Interact with other loan operations areas to get corrections and/or clarifications on outstanding audits
    • Complete a full review of the CRA/HMDA LAR's to ensure accurate input
    • Document bankruptcy information received, and make necessary changes to the Core System to ensure accounts are classified as bankruptcy
    • Assist in Fair Credit Reporting compliance by investigating and customer disputes through the e-Oscar system
    • Participate in gathering information for all upcoming audits and examinations
    • Provide feedback on process improvements to obtain continuous improvement within the loan operation areas
    • Other duties as assigned by manager

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year(s) of experience in the loan operations area, audit, or within loan documentation required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance preferred
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Suite
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently, remain focused, and multi-task during high volume times in a busy environment
    • Handle detail-oriented functions without errors
    • Strong interpersonal skills
