    Customers Bank, recently named by Forbes magazine as the 35th Best Bank in America (there are over 5,700 banks in the United States!), has an immediate opening for a Loan Operations Processing Team Lead in our Loan Administration department. As the Loan Operations Processing Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing/leading processing workflow including, but not limited to the assignment of duties and responsibilities related to loan item processing. You will also develop and implement consistent policies and procedures that comply with department procedures, Bank policies, State and Federal regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide thoughtful leadership and strategic direction to improve loan processing services for the benefit of the customer and the Bank
    • Develop plans to identify, source, and implement industry best practices, vendors, and processes
    • Help to manage Commercial and Consumer Loan processing department; which includes all processes of customer service, payment, disbursement, wire, payoff processing etc.
    • Manage the Participation / Syndication process and work with partner institutions on remittance processing
    • Administer direct loan input, verification procedures, and record retention for all loans processing items
    • Maintain current working knowledge of lending compliance regulations, secondary market requirements, and legal lending requirements
    • Oversee maintenance, team proficiency with loan software applications. Work with system providers to utilize applications to the fullest capacity
    • Provide back up to the Loan Operations Accounting Manager on loan control balancing.
    • Maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations, bank policies, and procedures related to the position

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of work experience in Loan Item Processing within Bank Operations preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Strong loan servicing skills
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents
    • Influential mentor, communicator, and trainer
    • Ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service
    • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
