  • Overview

    BankMobile is looking for an Inside Sales representative.  The Inside Sales Representative will generate revenue by promoting sales of new services, understanding prospect requirements, providing prospect information and developing accounts.  This position also assists Sales with the research and scheduling of prospect visits.

    Responsibilities

    • Makes cold calls to create relationships with potential customers and/or new leads to cultivate new business for outside sales
    • Researches current solutions/processes used by prospective clients
    • Schedules appointments (phone, Webex, email, on-site) for the sales team
    • Advises prospects on BankMobile solutions and how they can meet prospect business needs
    • Manages pipeline, perform excellent follow up and clearly document interactions
    • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team member for further development and closure on deals outside of inside sales scope
    • Maintains and expands database of prospects including contacts and current solutions
    • Assists Client Operations with the implementation of service as appropriate
    • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
    • Open to taking on new projects as assigned by management
    • Exercises discretion and independent judgement when evaluating needs of the prospective client
    • Engages manager for escalation items as needed.
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

     

    Expected Outcomes:

    • Inside Sales Rep will understand and meet the sales goals assigned by management
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients for both inside and outside sales
    • Learn different communication techniques that help support sales activities of BankMobile products and services
    • Work with other departments to enhance and develop marketing materials and tools; recommend and build products based on prospective client requests; enhance onboarding and relationship management by requesting feedback from recently signed clients

    Qualifications

    • Strong phone presence with excellent communication skills
    • Ability to independently research existing and potential clients 
    • At least 3 years of sales or relationship management experience; banking, higher education enterprise sales or SaaS preferred
    • Demonstrates ability to work independently and is a team player
    • Strong computers skills required including MS Word and Salesforce or comparable CRM
    • Knowledge of Higher Education industry a plus
    • Experience with B2B sales strong preferred 
    • Ability to travel as needed (under 15% travel)
    • Bachelor’s degree
