Customers Bank, recently named by Forbes magazine as the 35th Best Bank in America (there are over 5,700 banks in the United States!), has an immediate opening for a Loan File Processor within our Loan Administration – Collateral group. As a Loan File Processor, you will be responsible for preparing, updating, and retaining our loan document files.

Success will be measured by comparing a spreadsheet of new loans booked on our core system, against the new loans that have to be organized and scanned each month.

We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


  • Assemble and maintain all loan document files to ensure documents are in proper order to be scanned.
  • Update files with any trailing documents during the life of the loan; such as change in terms, letters, updated collateral documents, etc.
  • Prepare labels for all document files, credit files, and SBA file folders using Net Labels software.
  • Scan all physical documents through the document scanner and index properly in our imaging system.
  • File the updated physical documents after the scanning process has been completed.
  • Electronically upload any documents that are in a pdf format to our imaging system.
  • Perform documentation review for loan documents that have been previously sent to the imaging system.
  • Ensure that attorney document binders are properly scanned and indexed.
  • Help with the Loan Scanning mailbox to keep it cleared of all items to be scanned on a daily basis.
  • Back-up person for all property and business insurance tracking where you will open the insurance mail and update information in the core system.


  • At least 1 year of work experience in the banking industry preferred.
  • Independent worker who can handle large volumes of work with strict deadlines.
  • Internal customer service skills in order to assist other team members in finding documents and loan files.
  • Detail-oriented and can manage work flow efficiently.
  • Able to lift loan file boxes for transportation to storage areas.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Ability to learn new software systems such as the bank's imaging system and loan file label software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
