    Customers Bank, recently named by Forbes magazine as the 35th Best Bank in America (there are over 5,700 banks in the United States!), has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator within our Team Member Services team. As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you will report to the VP of Payroll and ESPP Manager and will be responsible for the administration of employee time and attendance, payroll processing, and benefit programs. This individual will also be expected to perform work of substantial importance in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, to assure that proper administrative procedures are maintained always.

    We are looking for a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Manage time and attendance process, including Time Off for all Team Members.
    • Accurately enter changes, New Hires/Terminations, and Paydata Batches in ADP.
    • Ensure biweekly pay of Commissions, Bonus (Spot & Referral), and adjustments are processed and communicated to the Team Members affected.
    • Serve as backup to the Benefits area.
    • Send payroll reports required for General Ledger to Accounting for debit and verification.
    • Complete payroll and 401k audits.
    • Assist in updating processes for Payroll & 401k in the Operations Manual.
    • Generate reports from the ADP system as needed.
    • Analyze and interpret data from system generated reports.
    • Process State applications.
    • Continuously expand knowledge of ADP Payroll, HR, Benefits, and Time & Attendance.

    Qualifications

    • 5 + years of experience in payroll processing required, preferably with ADP database.
    • HRIS system experience required.
    • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now required.
    • Superior comfort level using technology.
    • Knowledge of FLSA.
    • Experience generating reports from HRIS systems, analyzing data, and creating reporting metrics.
    • Experience with selecting HR systems and software, as well as growth platforms.
    • Ferocious attention to detail.
    • Team oriented with excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to stay focused and work in a deadline intensive environment.
    • Highly organized and process driven.
    • Flexibility with priorities dependent on what requires immediate attention.
    • Perform with the upmost honesty and integrity.
    • Ability to remain calm and collected in pressure situations.
    • Desire to constantly learn and develop new skills related to Payroll & Benefits.
