Customers Bank, recently named by Forbes magazine as the 35th Best Bank in America (there are over 5,700 banks in the United States!), has an immediate opening for a Loan Servicing Specialist within our Loan Administration Group. As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you will ensure that the collateral for all paid off loans is properly released or satisfied in the time-frame required by the state. This includes real estate, vehicle titles, UCC filings, life insurance assignments, control agreements, etc. This individual will be expected to reconcile Paid Loan LOG and OSI reports and guarantee all loans make it to the LOG. You will also build relationships with third party vendors in order to have successful out of state satisfaction filings.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent customer service skills.


  • Ensure any releases requested in stage releases have proper pay-downs on the loan prior to filing any releases.
  • Process paid off loan files - send refund checks as needed.
  • Prepare Thank-You letters and send terminated documents to customers on all paid off loans.
  • Ensure that every loan on the Paid Loan LOG has collateral properly satisfied, released, or moved to another file.
  • Back-up for handling Recordings.
  • Remove all real estate paid loans from the Core Logic tax tracking system.
  • Back-up for scanning items into PaperVision.


  • At least 1 year of documentation experience in the banking, financial, or title industry. 
  • Knowledge of satisfaction requirements for the various counties/states in our market area
  • Ability to recognize when to use releases versus satisfaction pieces.
  • Highly organized to ensure every loan that needs collateral released or satisfied is done in a timely manner while not releasing any loan prematurely.
  • Ability to calculate recording costs so fees are proper for the satisfactions/releases.
  • Strong customer service skills to build successful relationships with title companies, county clerk, and etc. to ensure proper recording.  
  • HS Diploma required.


Technology Strengths:

  • Familiarity with core banking systems and knowledge of which collateral fields are necessary.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
