Customers Bank, recently named by Forbes magazine as the 35th Best Bank in America (there are over 5,700 banks in the United States!), has an immediate opening for a Funding Specialist within our Banking Operations/Warehouse Lending group. This is a high-volume/high-productivity position where you will be measured on accuracy of work, customer service, and production. The Funding Specialist will responsible for verifying and processing wire transfer requests. Other assignments will include reviewing all documentation to ensure accuracy, communication with closing agents to verify information, and reviewing/approval of closing protection letters.

We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast paced environment and has exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

 

  • Verify Closing Protection Letters.
  • Provide support to internal and external clients in regard to all wire transfer processing.
  • Monitor and respond to emails in a timely matter.
  • Foster positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Perform other job related duties and special projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Professional with at least 2 years of related experience and or/training.
  • Ability to produce accurate work with minimal errors.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and accounting knowledge.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in high pressure situations with a strong attention to details.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to Bank’s values.
