Customers Bank, recently named by Forbes magazine as the 35th Best Bank in America, (there are over 5,700 banks in the United States!) is looking for a temporary Branch Operations Specialist. The primary responsibilities of this position include providing support and guidance to branch team members to ensure operational excellence. This person will monitor the Branch Operations email box and provide timely and accurate responses. They will also answer incoming calls and have daily interaction with branch team members; Acting as the subject matter expert for all items operational in nature to ensure operational understanding and successful implementation of bank policies and procedures. In addition, this role will require active participation for bank initiatives that are implemented in the branches.

 

We are looking for someone who will be committed to this project through the spring of 2018. 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor the Branch Operations email box and provide timely responses.
  • Support branch team members with day-to-day operational issues, questions and concerns.
  • Responsible for completing various reports including daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Trouble-shoot system issues and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Provide detailed communication information as needed.
  • Write Branch Bulletins and other branch communications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

 

  • Prior banking experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle detailed oriented functions.
  • Self-starter with minimal need for supervision to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment with a positive attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and in front of small groups.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, and obtain root problem cause with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to provide resolutions regarding operational issues.
  • Must to able to constructively train team members on system navigation and Bank policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of ‘big picture’ items and ability to communicate the big picture into smaller operational steps.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and other MS technologies.
