Customers Bank, recently named by Forbes magazine as the 35th Best Bank in America (there are over 5,700 banks in the United States!) and the #1 Pennsylvania-chartered bank on the list, has an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager-Multi Family Lending. This person will be responsible for managing risk ratings and verifying loan covenants within the multi-family and investment CRE portfolio through the bank’s six step annual review process. Steps included in the process are requesting financial documentation, inspecting the properties, performing the annual review, receiving formal approval, processing the approval and tracking the portfolio. The position is very fast paced, so it is a necessity to be able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.

  • Four year bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with a concentration of either accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CRE underwriting or CRE portfolio management
  • Thorough understanding of the Investment Commercial Real Estate & Multi-Family market
  • Ability to manage time and complete assigned annual reviews in a timely manor
  • Detail oriented personality

Technology Strengths:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and Power-Point).
  • Ability to adapt to the bank's databases in order to research loans and financial documentation.
